Why this site exists
Most VA benefits content online is paraphrased from other websites until nobody can say where a number came from. VeteranPlug works the other way around: a data pipeline pulls the rating schedule from the eCFR, compensation rates from va.gov, and workload data from VBA's weekly reports, and pages are generated from that data, with the source and retrieval date printed under every table.
What this site will never do
- Charge you, or anyone, for help with a claim, we don't prepare or assist with claims at all.
- Publish a statistic we can't cite to the VA, the CFR, or our own pipeline output.
- Pretend to be affiliated with the VA. We're not.
If you need help with a claim, use a free VA-accredited representative or VSO.
